Camille Egdorf

From a very young age Camille knew fly fishing would be a major focal point in her life. She grew up in a small, Montana town nestled along the banks of the Big Horn river where her love of fishing continued to grow. Then once summer hit, she migrated North to Alaska, where she and her parents operated a guided trout camp on the Nushagak River in Bristol Bay. At 18, she started guiding and continued to do so for the next 6 years. She’s currently hosting trips with Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Adventures and working in their office. If she’s not in the office, sitting at the vise or hitting the crossfit gym, she’s likely to be chasing fish somewhere.

“Here in Montana our rivers are plagued with large rocks covered in slippery moss. I’m always struggling with staying on my feet and inevitably fall at some point during the day. I can honestly say that [Hillsound’s FreeSteps6] cured that problem and I was able to wade wherever I wanted! I won’t go anywhere without these in my day bag from now on!” – Camille Egdorf
