Broken. Not even close to what I would’ve expected for the price.

I bought this to replace a much less expensive stool I had that also broke. The metal connecting screw (can only assume it’s aluminum) literally snapped. I’ve had this deployed for 5 months. I used it to put on shoes and sit for 5 minutes a day. Expected more, got a lot less.

Hi David, I am very sorry to hear about this issue with your BTR Stool. I have reached out via email to find a solution and help you in any way I can.

    My 2nd one... probably last.

I'm 5'11" 175#, I use this as my glassing stool while hunting/scouting/guiding. I make the effort to be on level ground 95% of the time, I just broke my second stool in front of my clients, and heard them say,"well so much for those stools." While they are nestled nicely in an all steel version. I'll sacrifice the weight and have something that's no going to fall apart on me.

Hi Michael, thank you taking the time to share your experience. I am so sorry to hear about your stool, this is an unfortunate scenario. I have reached out to you via email to sort this out!

    Finicky

    Great stool
But needs to be handled with care
Pull too hard and the poles disconnect from the center bracket
Always check the legs have locked in place
I have learned the hard way
    Now it is good
But as I titled it is finicky

Hi Neeman, thank you for sharing your experience! Please, don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any issues.

    Just embarrassed myself

Used this chair for the 2nd time at a concert. The one leg broke, and I was splayed out on my back in front of at least 50 people within my immediate area. Looked like a fool and embarrassed my date. I’m 6ft and 200lbs which is not small but I was well within the weight limit (which I now know is way less than 200 lbs). I got this for 2 other people as a gift and now I feel responsible for their future injuries/embarrassment as well.

Hi Casey, I'm so sorry to hear about what happened with your BTR Stool. We stand behind our products so I want to make sure I can assist you in any way I can. If you could please send an email to service@hillsound.ca I'll be able to discuss the issue and find a solution for this incident.
