    very disappointing

I'm very disappointed with this product, bought one 3 years ago for hunting, and it broke the second year. I thought it was a fluke, and I liked how compact it was so I bought another one, well that one just broke this morning, don't plan on this product last more then a year.
Also, trying to get it warrantied is not a easy process, for the price, there should be no questions asked, no matter where it was purchased.

    Great Product!

I have used the BTR for the past few summers and it is amazing. It is so light weight that I can easily throw it in my bag for any hike, and I have even strapped it to my belt for easy access when hanging out around camp. I would recommend this to anyone for camping or hiking.

Thanks for the great review! We're happy to hear that you've found the BTR to be a great product that is essential to your outdoor adventures!

    Major leg issues

I am a sheep guide in Idaho, Bought the stool from Outdoorsman in Arizona for glassing. It didn't take long and two of the three tubes disconnected and the lock tab on one leg no longer functions. I weigh 170 lbs. sopping wet, Pretty disappointed given the price.

Hi Mike, I am very sorry to hear about your experience! It sounds like you may have received a faulty unit. We offer a 2 year warranty on our products, so please fill out the warranty form found at the bottom of our website, or please reach out to us at Service@hillsound.ca and we will help you out!

    Nice idea

Good concept. Nice materials, comfortable, and not too heavy. However, it just doesn’t work. Fittings come apart and legs collapse unless great care is taken to make sure the button fully engages. This is sometimes difficult to accomplish. I’ve had them (2) a few years and just never use them for this reason. I think they went on two overnight trips. For reference I’m 185 pounds and my girlfriend is 110 pounds.

Thanks for the feedback! We're sorry to hear that you're not happy with the BTR stool. We hope that you'll give it another try in the future, as it does have a lot of potential. If you continue to have trouble with the legs, please reach out to us at Service@hillsound.ca and we'd love to help you out. The legs should always stay locked in place once you hear the confirming 'click' sound after fully extending them passed the marked line.

    Dangerous

I took this stool out elk hunting… set up to glass and it collapsed underneath me. A leg completely fell off.
Knocked me to the ground in jagged rocks.

    Don’t waste your money.
