I’ve had these a few years now & as long as you get the proper size for a tight fit I’ve never had them slide around at all even on some very steep terrain with ice or snow on a regular hiking boot. Worth the price
Sure footing on any terrain.Walked perhaps 100 miles on ice and snow without a single slip or fall.
This is the second pair I have ordered. Tried another brand but they didn't last. I have an extremely steep lawn, and I use these when I hand-mow it. Bought my last set in 2014. Have attached a picture of how they look now. Walking sideways on the hill as I mow puts a different stress on them than they were designed for, so I'm happy that they've lasted as long as they did.
I've been able to keep up my hiking and feel safe in a variety of conditions, including trail running on iced up trails. They are very easy to put on the shoe and the top strap holds it all secure, unlike other brands I have tried.
I can fall down in dry, sunny weather on flat pavement, but with these on, I can walk up or down or across any slope, over any surface, in ice and snow with confidence. Worth the price just by avoiding trips to the emergency room. Awesome product.
